Along with our ward film, we also got to make a commercial.
This one I did write lines for. It is for Captain Moroni Wake-Up Calls. Everyone in it is from one family in our ward, even the daughter who doesn't appear on screen does the voice-over. They were great to work with. It was fun.
It's up on YouTube, too. I'll see if I can figure out how to put a link on here.

A Franciscan Blessing
I found this quote from a Franciscan blessing over at The Faithful Dissident and thought it was worth sharing here. So enjoy, or don't, as it pleases you.
“May God bless you with a restless discomfort about easy answers,
half-truths and superficial relationships, so that you may seek truth boldly and love deep within your heart.
May God bless you with holy anger at injustice, oppression, and exploitation of people, so that you may tirelessly work for justice, freedom, and peace among all people.
May God bless you with the gift of tears to shed with those who suffer from pain, rejection, starvation, or the loss of all that they cherish, so that you may reach out your hand to comfort them and transform their pain into joy.
May God bless you with enough foolishness to believe that you really CAN make a difference in this world, so that you are able, with God’s grace, to do what others claim cannot be done.
AMEN.”

Amy's Ward Film
Amy recently shot a 5 minute documentary/profile for our ward's entry into the stake film festival. She did a great job and I thought I would post it here for all y'alls to see.
